Paper Cup Reindeers

After sharing our Reindeer Tree yesterday, I had to show you these paper cup reindeer. Again so simple & fun for children to create, & they cost next to nothing to make.

We collected some paper cups & coloured with brown pens. Once covered we used foam stickers to make a red nose & a couple of eyes, before making two holes in the bottom of the cup using a pencil.

To make the antlers we pushed small twigs through the holes, & our mini Rudolph was ready to spread some Christmas cheer!

These paper cups make cute decorations, but how about turning them into gifts too.

To make this reindeer we decorated the paper cup as before, turning it the other way up & making the holes for the antlers on either side of the cup. Instead of stick antlers, we used pipe cleaners, which we threaded through the holes & secured. We twisted them into an antler-ish shape, & then filled the cup with sweets ready to give to friends.

Not only are the pipe cleaner antlers safe for little ones to play with, they also act as handles.

Cute & simple gifts for school friends or family, perfect!
