The Bee Trail is made up of 9 stations which each share an amazing bee fact, bible verse, & an activity. Some of the activities celebrate our God-given gifts, while others invite us to care for God's creation, but each one is faith-focused, child-centred & fun!
The 9 stations are designed on A4 sheets so they're easy to print off & laminate. There's also a welcome sign which introduces children to the trail & the character "Buzz the Bee" who leads them through the activities which are all numbered on his badge. At the end of the trial, children will have discovered some fascinating bee facts, plus more about the Bible, God's creation & how we can care for it.
Our Bee Trail was recently launched at a local church & has been popular with children of all ages who have enjoyed searching for the stations as well as exploring the activities.
The idea of the trial is that the stations are 'hidden' for young children to find fairly easily around your outdoor space. Displaying them beside trees, next to flowerbeds/wildflower areas, benches, gates, doors or signposts are perfect spots for children to discover them.
